Downtown was packed with saloons that proudly served Lang's, Simon Pure, Iroquois and Phoenix.
Prohibition spelled doom for many breweries and of course the death knell for Buffalo came after the St. Lawrence Seaway opened in 1951.
But guess what?
Beer is back in Buffalo, NY!
